Malagousia was brought back from the brink of extinction and the rest is history! Since its revival in the 70s, this vivacious variety has become a superstar of the Greek wine scene; aromatic intrigue of fresh flowers and herbs, ripe stone fruit, juicy citrus, and refreshing acidity that just won’t quit. P.S.- No turtles were harmed in the making of this wine, in fact, they have their own protected nesting ground amongst the vines in this subregion of Amyndeon!
Serving Suggestion: Mussels saganaki w/ crusty bread. Mezze platter piled high w/dolmades, keftedes, kalamata olives, pita + tyrokafteri. Grilled snapper w/summer squash + corn.
