Cedric Bardin’s tiny estate, straddling both shores of the Loire river (one foot in Poully-Fuisse and the other in Sancerre), produces some of these regions’ most remarkable values. The domaine’s holdings in Sancerre account for less than 20% of its total production, allowing for an unparalleled focus on quality. Every trademark of Sancerre abounds in this wine – the fiercely bright, citrusy personality, the clearly defined flintiness from the terroir, and the sumptuous herbal complexities.
