Condrieu’s granite slopes overlooking the town of Ampuis and the Rhone River are the birthplace of Viognier and where the grape, most would agree, does its very best work. Intensely characterful with pristine stone fruit, spicy potpourri, Alpine river stone, and toasty, pastry-like notes from judicious oak aging on the lees, this offering magnificently maintains impeccable balance with lively acidity.
