We visited this winery on a wine-buying trip and can confirm that this estate is responsible for some of Germany’s greatest values. Located on the "red slope" between Nackenheim and Oppenheim, the beautiful red earth-atop-limestone vineyards give these wines their incredible minerality and fierce acidity. Made from grapes harvested at gorgeous ripeness, the wine’s power is sublime, sneaky, and refreshingly dry on the finish. A blockbuster wine for all occasions!
Serving Suggestion: Honey roasted duck. BBQ chicken w/ jicama slaw. Seared scallops w/ bacon & spicy mayo. Summer squash casserole au gratin.
