RIPE MELON & GUANABANA, UNCTUOUS, EXOTIC & FRESH The hot, arid vineyards of Priorat and their nutrient-poor soils are best known for producing intense, complex, and full-bodied red blends. Though only a tiny amount of white blends emerge from the region, they are no less bold, structured, or stunning. This example ages for six months in new French oak, yielding a wine that’s fleshy and juicy with layers of tropical fruits, white flowers, and minerality. Serving Suggestions: Lobster rolls. Lemon risotto w/ pan-seared scallops & arugula pesto. Pork chops w/ spiced apples. Zucchini & chickpea tagine.
