If you’ve never heard of the Cianorôs grape, it’s because it nearly went extinct before Emilio Bulfon saved it from the brink. Intense aromas, brambly wild berries, pomegranate, wild herbs, a vein of elegant earthiness, a touch of rose petal – it’s as summery as it gets without being rosé. “Cianorôs" comes from the local dialect and means to drink right from the bottle. Go ahead, try it – we won’t judge. We may have even done it ourselves.
Serving Suggestions: Wood-roasted zucchini, eggplant, mushrooms & tomatoes w/ brown rice. Buttermilk biscuits w/ slices of smoked ham & whole grain mustard.
