Lamberto Vannucci’s wines are named after a horse training facility close to his vineyards. This grape got its name from the Italian word for sheep, pecora, since they supposedly love to eat it as they’re herded down the hills. It’s bright, clean, & citrusy with a refreshing touch of jasmine flower and fresh herbs. It’s the perfect wine for after a vigorous session of horse training or sheep herding.
Serving Suggestions: In a delicious quirk of fate, Pecorino cheese! Fish soup w/ tomatoes, garlic, rosemary, vinegar, & a pinch of red pepper flakes. Quattro formaggi pizza. Thai red curry vegetables.
