EXOTIC, EARTHY & PEPPERY. BLACKBERRY & VIOLETS This is Diane & Philippe Cauvin’s pure Negrette grape cuvee from a single parcel of vineyard with iron rich soils of pebbles, gravel and sand. The distinctive soil gives the wine a softer but more intense flavor of the Negrette grape, almost heightening its characteristics. This is the most pure expression of wine from Fronton, a standard by which others are measured! Serving Suggestions: Cassoulet, the bean, pork, duck and sausage casserole of southwest France is a classic pairing, since they originate in the same region.
