SUBTLE LIME, PRETTY WATERMELON, ELEGANT MINERALITY
Making big reds is the passion of father and son Manuel and João Cordeiro, but the quality of their vineyard shines here. These indigenous grapes are perfectly able to retain freshness even in the face of ever-hotter summers, and the limestone soil and hilly vineyard site give this white a delicate minerality. Fun fact: One of the world’s largest dinosaur footprint sites was found just a few miles away.
Serving Suggestion: Salt cod fritters w/ potato, onion, & garlic. Tomato sandwich w/ mayo, radish, anchovies & Maldon salt on a potato roll. Kale salad w/ lemon vinaigrette & crispy roasted chickpeas.
