Dolin, Vermouth de Chambéry AOC, Dry, Savoie, France NV
FRESH & CLEAN, AROMATIC. PUNGENT HERBS, DRY & LIGHT
Dolin has been using the same (secret) base recipe since 1821, and in the 1930’s Chambéry became France’s only AO for the production of Vermouth. Long the benchmark for fine vermouth, Dolin is now in the fifth generation of the Sevez family. Generally lighter and drier than most commercially produced vermouths, it’s clean, fresh, and complex, and has a much higher percentage of real wine than those from mega-producers.
Serving Suggestion: Elevate your Martini, Gibson, Old Pal, or Chrysanthemum. Also delicious as an aperitif w/ raw shellfish.
