Hélène Durand’s family estate is at the true heart of Graves, where she and her daughter Amélie are the current generations to live and work on their breathtaking 17th century chartreuse that was once a monastery. Since 1933, Château Doms has been passed down in the Duvigneau-Parage family from mother to daughter for five generations, with each bringing its own elegance and finesse. The 28 hectares of vines are planted in sandy-clay subsoils on a gravely hill, allowing for a little extra sun exposure that goes a long way in aiding the ripening of these grapes.
