My goodness! What a surprise this wine is. If you didn’t know better, you’d probably mistake it for a fine Bordeaux or a Sonoma Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon. The delicious currants and cassis with toasted new oak and a long, long, long finish would not make you think you’re drinking a value wine from Ribatejano in Portugal. This is a real treat, one bottle is not enough!
Serving Suggestion: A bold showy wine in need of some savory classics. Prime rib, grilled NY strip over smoked rosemary stems.
