Brothers Florent and Benjamin Dananchet are making rich, balanced wines which admirably showcase the potential of the Viré-Clessé appellation, Pouilly-Fuisse’s more opulent neighbor. Aged in 3,000-liter tuns which contribute subtle essences of toasty oak, this luscious wine elegantly maintains minerality, with complex fruit as its focus.
