Garofoli, who began their family tradition of winemaking in 1871, are best known for their Verdicchio. The previous generation’s two brothers took over the estate from their father in the 1970’s, and today their children have taken up the reins, becoming the fifth generation of winemakers in the family, crafting vibrant whites like this one with herbaceous spice, shining citrus, and lots of lovely mineral on the finish.
