Kopke, "10 Years Old" Tawny Port [375ml], Oporto, Portugal, NV
DRIED FRUITS, HONEY AND SPICE, CARAMEL NOTES Kopke is the oldest port wine company in Portugal, dating back to 1638 when two German pioneers settled in Duoro to make wine. This port is a blend of oak casks aged an average of 10 years. Brown-tawny in color, it shows dried fruits, honey and spice aromas and flavors. A very long rich finish with serious complexity rivaling some ports at 20 years of age. Serving Suggestion: Best as a dessert on its own or with egg based cake desserts that have extra richness. Also great with coffee or vanilla ice-cream.
