This newest cuvée from one of our favorite Southwestern vignerons began as Christine Dupuy’s musing on the catastrophic weather conditions they had experienced during the growing season of the 2022 vintage (frost, hail, heatwaves). Circumstances appeared bleak, and yet all hope was not lost. Instead, Christine worked her magic, expertly finessing generous aromatics and richness coupled with assertive acidity and honeyed citrus, humbly robed in lighthearted comic-style labels drawn by her son, Louis, depicting their triumph over adversity.
Serving Suggestion: Club w/ slow cooked, bacon-wrapped turkey, mustard aioli, lettuce, tomato, pickled onions, avocado & cheese on sourdough. Hamachi crudo. Tofu ‘halloumi’ salad w/ spinach, sugar snap peas, broccolini, & pomegranate w/ creamy tahini dressing.
