HONEYSUCKLE, APRICOT, GRANITE MINERALITY, DRY & RACY Anselmo Mendes, a native of Monção in northwest Portugal, is passionate about both his vineyards and the native varieties inhabiting them. He follows the tenet that quality wine is first created in the vineyard, cultivating each grape variety in the section of land that best compliments it. This is a remarkably complex wine with focused mineral, elegantly lean fruit, and unrelenting acidity, making it particularly well suited for fresh seafood. Serving Suggestion: Sardinhas assadas (chargrilled sardines) w/ olive oil, sea salt, black pepper, & shallots. Spicy Vietnamese vermicelli w/ shellfish, mint, & lemongrass.
