700 meters above sea level, in the Peloponnesian highlands, the Troupis’s vineyards are nestled together on the Plateau known as Mantinia. Taking its name from its region of origin, “Fteri” also means fern – quite evocative for an estate whose viticultural activities are kept company by the farming of tree fruit and growing of nursery flowers. It’s easy to imagine that this wine inherits its personality from these surroundings, but the expressive Moschofilero variety requires no assistance in achieving impressive perfume…
