Along with their son Anthony, Tony and Jo Ann Truchard own and operate Truchard Vineyards in the moderately cool-climate Carneros area of Napa. The vineyard covers a broad 400-acre swath of sloping hills and fog-prone valleys with a dizzying variety of soil types. We love this wine’s concentrated ripe fruit, woodsy spice, and earthy green pepper. Powerful enough for aging but ready for your table tonight.
