This grape is known traditionally in the Piemontese village of Verduno as an aphrodisiac. While that certainly titillates us, our real interest lies in its unique character. Spicy and delicate with a lingering taste, much like a first kiss, it also has a little bit of a bite (a nibble?), so pair it with cuisine that is a little creamy. This Burlotto family estate has been making wine since 1500!
Serving Suggestions: Ravioli in a Parmesan cream sauce. Risotto carbonara. Beef carpaccio. Garlicky roasted broccoli w/ pecorino cheese.
