We strongly suspect that none of our dear friends here in NC require a reminder that summer is going full tilt, and we’re not here to suggest that wine is quite up to the task of "beating" the heat. But! We have assembled a crack team of simultaneously sumptuous and refreshing gems to pair with the season…and its swelter.
Four intensely characterful whites (one bubbly!), a delightfully expressive rosé, and a red that epitomizes chillability are on deck and ready distract us from the soaring temperatures of now by tantalizing our tastebuds and overwhelming our olfactory bulbs in an aromatic avalanche. Yum!
