International Grenache Day might not top your list of each year’s festive highlights – but it probably should! For the past decade, we’ve annually unleashed a jubilant care package to celebrate the great grape. This edition is additionally special as it not only represents the tenth year of said tradition but also serves as an outstanding introduction to the newest W.A. Selections producer, Priorat’s Maius! Priorat is one of Spain’s most dynamic regions and among the brightest points for Grenache-driven vino. Included in this PACK are both a robustly representative red and an exceptional blanco starring Grenache’s wonderful but lesser-known white mutation. Also featuring familiar faces from Aragón and Navarra as well as France’s Rhone valley (x 2!), this year’s pack clearly packs quite the punch, and it’s perfect as evenings begin to get a bit cooler and our cravings for richer fare begin to ramp up.
