In our first pack of spring proper, we turn our sights to Italy’s lovely northeast in pursuit of the signature specialties associated with Verona and Treviso!
In fair Verona, where we lay our scene (part of it, in any case), we’ll tell the tale of Garganega, Corvina, and company courtesy of Soave, Valpolicella, and Bardolino.
As we head east, toward the Adriatic, we’ll find ourselves in the southern reaches of Prosecco country. Needless to say, we’ll indulge in some refreshing bubbles perfect for the season, but we’ll also explore the region’s aptitude for Bordeaux-inspired fare. Grazie!
